It arrived before I left the house for work this morning. My sister sternly forbade me from opening it -- she said I'd just want to take the day off and play with it. And she was right!

It turns out that getting the wrong camera the last time worked out for the best. The Olympus I ordered from Amazon this time had free shipping, was bigger (megapixelly speaking, not size-wise) and had a 5x zoom, and was still the cool, sleek black and silver I wanted.

Oh, I have so much to do this weekend! But I will find time to play with it, preparing for the taking of many, many pictures in Paris, to which I will subject you all.
