Local Art Fridays: Donna Dennis: Cabins on Park
Just catching up with some local art pictures I took last year, in an effort to use up all the photos from my old camera:
First glimpse
I spotted this one evening on my walk down to Grand Central Terminal.
Interesting...
I got up as close as I could -- the crosswalks on Park Avenue are not very wide, and they are very busy.
Closer... what are they?
As I suspected... a little fake cabin.
Ah...ha!
The artist is revealed, as is the sponsor and time frame.
I'd never heard of Donna Dennis before, but it turns out this is the type of work she's best known for doing.
