Title: Planetary Wine Glasses
Whenever MaryAnn Johanson and I take a trip to Boston these days for conventions, one of our great pleasures is visiting with our friends Bob, Michael and Darcy Deveny and Bob Kuhn. Bob and Darcy often invite us over for a glass of wine and some dessert. They are wonderful hosts.
The Devenys don't drink but Bob Kuhn will often raise a glass or two (or three) with us. He has an excellent wine cellar and on one visit, amused us with his space-themed wine glass charms, space and science being a mutual topic of interest to all of us.
On our last visit to Boston, which was strictly a pleasure/socialising visit, we went over to Bob and Darcy's and I brought a small gift for Bob of handpainted wine glasses which continued the theme of those space charms.

A very bad habit of mine, especially with gifts, is to finish the gift and deliver it to the receipient without taking photos of the artwork as I finish it. Which happened in this instance as well. I emailed Bob Kuhn and asked if he could take a few quick photos for my records and the website.

Well, Bob Kuhn is something of an artist himself and takes wonderful photographs. He sent back these magnificent, professional grade photos of the wine glasses, artfully posed. They actually look better in the photos than they do in person!
