Comments: The weather here in New York, where it is officially still spring, is a balmy 70 something. A little cool, a little wet and rainy. I love it. Over the weekend, however, I'm told by the local weather channell that we will be getting a major dose of summer -- 90 and higher. I hate summer but I've always loved masks. Maybe it was seeing them at the American Museum of Natural History as a kid (the same way Joseph Campbell got his start as an expert on comparative religions), I may have seen images or read about Mardi Gras (Carnival), especially that of Venice, maybe I just liked Halloween... whatever the reason, I like masks.
And, it turns out, that many science fiction/fantasy conventions have Masquerades, where beautiful costumes and masks are abundent. I made a few masks or mask themed items to sell. This is the mask for Summer.

I do plan on finishing masks for the other seasons as well. I previously did a Winter mask for a friend whose birthday is in January.
