Local Art Fridays: How Local?

Local art is art wherever you find it. Including civic monuments. On a recent trip to Philadelphia, I walked out of the hotel and came across this monument to Copernicus, the "Father of Modern Astronony":

I liked it because it combined two of my favorite things: art and science. Copernicus , a Polish-born scientist, was the first to come up with the heliocentric theory of cosmology.
