Comments: I had this idea that perhaps we need some new household gods. Protectors for the modern world and life. One of the first I came up with was Juno Utilitaria, Protectress of Household Utilities.
Juno was the Roman goddess who was protector of the home. These days, with internet, phone services, electricity and cable, we need protection more than ever and I figured Juno was a good one to evolve into a modern household protector diety.
I based the figure on several ancient goddess/priestess figures. In her hands she holds the symbols of her area of protection: a light bulb, a remote control, a low utility bill and cell phone. Her skirt is made of utility bills, around the base of her skirt is the water that flows into the home but does not flood it. She is garlanded with utility wire. Her hair is the flame of warmth and protection.

The next god in the series will be Plumbinium, the protector of household plumbing.
