Comments: I've always liked the design of the Scottish Luckenbooth brooch, even though I'm not a big fan of "heart" jewelry. However, I came up with this design after hearing a friend say one too many times how much she disliked how she looked. The pins are meant to be a set. The larger one has a mirror, and the smaller says:

"Our true reflection is in the Hearts of Friends."

I incorporated the crown found in the Luckenbooth brooches and claddagh rings, both given as friendship tokens. The colors in the pins are a bit more subdued in color than it appears here, as the photo reflected off the mirror a little too much.
