Sketch of the Week 21: Tartan Week study

As I've mentioned, it's Tartan Week here in NYC. And I've attended a few of the events, mostly the lectures at the New York Historical Society: John Paul Jones: American Hero or Scottish Pirate? (in which there was far too little "pirate" talk); a lovely program with music and films from the 1930s of the Islands of Scotland; and the Musem of Piping's Over the Isles to America, a very nice lecture on the origins and travels of the Scottish great pipes.

While waiting for the lecture to begin, I quickly drew this week's Sketch of the Week:

Robert Wallace, the principal of the College of Piping, Glasgow, had laid his pipes down on a table, next to a bottle of Bellhaven Ale. The guitar was also resting on the stage for the next program.
