Sketch of the Week 20: Asian Techniques

I have always loved the delicate and evocative Japanese and Chinese brush paintings. I recently bought a brush and ink, and a book with instructions on how to do these lovely, delicate types of paintings. I was practicing my pen technique, using the program at Boskone . These are strictly scenes from my imagination, and since they're small, I'm putting up a couple for the SotW:
