Sketch of the Week 19: Summer Morning
On a hot summer morning, on the corner near my office building, I saw this young woman walk by. reset5.03 download
She was wearing a gauzy cotton skirt in swirls of orange, and a white tank top. Backed against the gray and green shadows of the buildings, she looked so perfectly summery, I made a quick sketch of her. I also made notes as to the colors and textures that would be used in a future painting. I'm hoping to get to it this year. reset5.03 download
