Cat Blogging Anyway: Zelda
So. Even though I said I probably wasn't going to be doing any catblogging... looks like it's going to happen anyway. Occasionally.
Here is my Auntie May's cat, Zelda.

Zelda reminds all who know her of Le Pussycat in the the Pepe Le Pew cartoons:

because she's always very wild-eyed, very nervous and very fluffy. Matter of fact, Zelda is so fluffy, she has hair between her toes, like a Hobbit! She runs like hell to hide in the bathtub, or under the birdcage, whenever the doorbell rings.
Of course, Zelda's nervousness could be due to the fact that she started out in life with a few disadvantages. For one thing, she was the product of an incestuous relationship (not mentioning the names of the parents -- no need for embarassing anyone here), which could explain why she's so high strung. Another explanation for Zelda's wild-eyed expression is that "she" started life as a he. My aunt picked Zelda out of the litter, convinced Zelda was a girl. Several months later, when the time came for the neutering, it was discovered that Zelda had uhm, male, equipment -- which was snipped off. Habit prevailed and Zelda has been referred to as "she" to this day.
Zelda loves to lie on the arm of my Aunt's big, comfy armchair while my aunt is trying to watch TV:

She also has a hilarious habit of sort of draping over the arm of the chair:

in exactly the spot that will block the television best. Perhaps it is a form of revenge.
