Hot Cross Buns are sweet, yeasty pastries usually found in bakeries (or by Entemann's on store shelves) only during the season of Lent, especially on Good Friday. They have little bits of candied fruit in them and a white icing cross on the top.

I don't really like them, but I always like seeing them appear in the bakeries. A traditionalist, that's me.
