This coming Sunday starts the Chinese New Year. The Year of the Pig (or Boar). In New York's Chinatown, as in others across the country (indeed, the world), the celebrations will kick off with a Dragon Dance. Unlike in the West, where dragons are considered symbols of danger, evil and sin, in Asia dragons are lucky and powerful creatures.
