Great Holiday Gifts

So, you're sitting around there puzzling over holiday gifts. Wondering what on earth to give to your aunt Gert for Christmas, or what Kwanzaa item to bestow on that nephew or niece just getting their first apartment, or your appalling second cousin once removed who makes menorahs at Chaunkah out of toothpicks... Or, perhaps your favorite sister, cousin or friend is just proving to be a difficult giftee this year. Well, I have the solution for your holiday giving needs:

Art.

Yes, my friends: Art is the answer. And -- it just so happens -- I have Art for sale. Of several different kinds. How fortuitious for all of us!

I have prints:

Art Image Myth Pale Hands.jpg Art Image Myth Ceres 004 WS.jpg

these are just a few examples; others can be viewed on this website.

I have paintings of all sizes and themes:

Art Image Fan Sea Goddess WS.jpg Art Image SF Carl Sagan 3 WS.jpg

Again, other examples can be found on this website, or you can email me with any questions.

For the more Chanukah-minded among you, I have this small print of a house blessing, suitable for all households:

If your tastes incline to the literary, or your recipient has a small attention span, two of my short stories make excellent reading fodder:

My short story, All of Me, a tale of love, suspense and medical procedures can be purchased through Forbidden Press. And my speculative fiction story, Sitting at the Gate of the Temple, a story about creativity and loyalty set in the near future, can be obtained in the anthology Watching Time, an anthology of prize-winning stories.

Get it through the Amazon link at right.

I'll also make a plug here for the work of some literary friends. For the movie buff:

MaryAnn Johanson's, The Totally Geeky Guide to the Princess Bride, a wise, witty and knowledgeable ode to that wonderful cult movie, is a steal at $9.95.

Or, if intrigue and backstabbing in the world of movie production is to their taste, Dan Kimmel's, The Dream Team, about the rise and fall of DreamWorks Studios is just the ticket. Both can be purchased through the Amazon link at right.

What makes up the genre Science Fiction is always changing, and John Scalzi is right in there, changing with it. His book, The Android's Dream, is a lovely, lighthearted -- with just a bit of bite to make it thoughtful --look at future diplomatic relations among aliens, sheep and computer geeks. Also available (as are his other books) through the Amazon link at right.

Happy ChrismaHanaKwaanza. And for everyone, everywhere, whatever race, creed or belief... let's hope for a year of Peace.
