Off to LA In the Morning!

I don't think I'll have much access to a computer while I'm in LA, so I won't promise to make notes, entries or postings while I'm gone.

I will do a complete World Con report when I return.

Once again: I'll be at World Con in LA (well, Anaheim, actually) from Wednesday August 23 through Sunday August 27. I have 3 panels in the art show and will be displaying some new and interesting work. I will be spending an hour or two each day by my display and will post the times as soon as I have some idea of the schedule of talks and panel discussions that I must attend.

I'll be back in New York on August 31st. Don't wait up!

It was lovely to meet you at Worldcon in the art suite on Hilton 5th floor; thank you for the info on the P H Martin transparent acrylics; I love what you're doing with glazing (I'm gleefully hanging up the postcard as well as the print I bought from you).
Back home, I have a note from Jennifer Berizan that she still has two places open in this year's Pilgrimage to Malta this September 22-October 1 -- of course impossibly insane to organize in this short a time, but another Appreciator of the spirals of New Grange, ought to at least hear of it - the place was aligned for viewing the autumn exquinox sunrise, and they'll be there for that, and will sing down in the cave of the Hypogeum, on this sacred study tour. here's a link to info: http://www.edgeofwonder.com/ - enjoy, if even just as a teaser; even more if you must simply just Be there, and go.

warmly,
Ruth Temple

Was googling your short, The Gantlet. Congratulations on the Circlet anthology! It's a great story (whether someone is f/f reader or not) and I hope it is well received.

Ruth -- many thanks for the nice comments on the glazes. i'm very excited by them. even though i didn't sell anything at the art show, i think i'll be entering some of those paintings (the newgrange ones especially) in some juried shows this year.

also, thanks for the info on the workshop, but i think i've done all the travelling i'm going to this year!

Ann: thanks for the lookup -- hope you enjoy the other short stories. i have one being published by Forbidden Publications on September 22nd and will be doing an online chat on October 11, which i'll be posting about soon.
