COMMENTS: When I bought my transparent acrylics, I had a large sheet of cold press paper that I painted a medium shade of blue, then cut up into smaller pieces. All that heavy paper painted blue put me in an ocean frame of mind. This is an image based on a celtic legend about a human woman who eventually becomes the queen of an ocean realm. The salmon is a powerful celtic symbol and I tried to give this a sort of watery effect.
