COMMENTS: This is a study for a larger painting (as yet unfinished) of Morgaine le Fey, of Arthurian legends. It was inspired by one of my all-time favorite books, "The Mists of Avalon," by Marion Zimmere Bradley, so I don't see Morgaine as an evil witch, but a powerful woman in a changing world. This was printed on a fairly smooth eggshell white paper.
