TITLE: Alien Crop 1
This week's entry is about prints and printing, so I thought I'd post a few print works of mine, pre-collograph class:

DATE CREATED: February 2005
COMMENTS: I read in an art magazine about doing prints using styrofoam trays, like the ones that you get with meat and fruit in supermarkets. The technique was, basically, a suggestion for grammar school art teachers, but I thought it would be an interesting thing to try at home. I certainly got a few styrofoam trays every week. So, I incised a picture onto the tray (after washing them, of course), then covered it with acrylic paint, placed the paper over it, and rubbed against the back of the paper. I used a black textured paper and got what I think is a nice image. I put them into the Boskone and Arisia art shows.
DIMENSIONS: 5x7 (unmatted) 8x10 (matted)
STATUS: I ran 3 prints from the same painted tray.
ONE print SOLD at Boskone, February 2007
TWO remaining prints FOR SALE $10 each
