COMMENTS: I took this photo several years ago. My nephew Carson, very blonde and very agile, had climbed up into a tree and called down to me. I looked up and snapped this shot. When I developed the film, the green tint from the leaves was very pronounced, so I decided to make use of it. The image of the Green Man from mythology is a popular one, but he is usually represented as a grown man at the height of summer. I thought a picture of him as a boy in spring would be interesting. I took the image and printed it on textured paper, then eliminated some features I didn't want in there. I took the altered image and printed it on a pale green paper. I made 50 prints of this, matted them and have sold them at every convention.
